Alia Bhatt takes on Paparazzi for giving her new nickname in GQ event
The Bollywood celebrities were at the red carpet of GQ event 2023. Sunny Deol, Mouni Roy, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, and several other prominent names were present in the event. At the GQ Men of the year awards on Wednesday, Alia and Wamiqa Gabbi stole the show for their outfits. There were several others in the event like Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, and some others.
Alia had worn a mini blood red dress with a matching chunky along with a high heeled loafer. With that, Alia had sported a short hair style. As usual, Alia caught the attention of the Paparazzi, who asked her to pose for images. One of the Paparazzo called Alia Bhatt as ‘Aalu Ji’, which did not go well with Bhatt. The national award-winning actress was quick to reply to him.
“Ye kya naya shuru kiya hai ‘Aalu ji’ (What is this new thing you have started),” asked Alia who was surprised with her new nickname. One of them asked Alia about the well-being of her daughter Raha. The Indian actress replied to them with an OK and heart sign with her hands. At the event, Alia won an Outstanding Achievement Award. Wamiqa caught the attention of Paparazzi later with her appearance.
Karan Johar wins Director of the Year award
Along with his sons Rajveer and Karan Deol, Sunny Deal appeared in the event. The Gadar 2 star won the Leading Man of the Year award. There were some other popular personalities at the event like Kirti Kulhari, Shahid Kapoor, Alanna Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shruti Haasan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and others. Karan Johar won the Director of the Year award at the event.
The maker of Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani came up dressed in a chunky green jacket. Upon receiving the Trophy, Johar posed for an image with the same. Later in the night, Karan uploaded the image of him winning the maiden Director of the year award on Instagram. Karan thanked the GQ event and expressed that he is grateful and over the moon. Karan further credited his entire team.

Ravi Kishan Reflects on Overcoming Casting Couch and Achieving Success in Bollywood
Ravi Kishan, a well-known actor and politician, recalled his struggles with the casting couch in Mumbai. His experiences were shared during an interview about his early days in the film industry.
When asked about men encountering sexual predators, Ravi replied, “When you’re young, fit, but have no money, some people try to take advantage.” He explained that he faced many such attacks in his youth due to his physical appearance.
Ravi also stressed that success has no shortcuts. “Many people who tried shortcuts regretted it,” he said. “They slipped into addiction or worse. Nobody becomes a star through shortcuts.”
He reflected on his journey patiently. He recalled his friends, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, becoming stars in the ’90s. But Ravi waited for his time, believing that one day, his moment would come.
Ravi Kishan’s recent projects include Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The movie, directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars other big names like Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone.
Additionally, Ravi will reprise his role in Maamla Legal Hai season 2. The show presents a fresh look at the legal profession and stars a diverse group of lawyers. The second season will also feature Naila Grewal and Yashpal Sharma.

Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan Star in King with Abhay Verma and Abhishek Bachchan
King has become one of the most anticipated movies in Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan is set to star alongside his daughter, Suhana Khan. Abhay Verma, known for Munjya, has also been reported as part of the cast.
In an interview with CNN-News18 Showsha, Abhay Verma did not confirm his role in King. However, he expressed his excitement about the possibility of working with Shah Rukh Khan. He mentioned that being part of the film would be a dream come true.
Abhay shared his feelings of being “fortunate” to be considered for the project. He said it would be an overwhelming experience to meet his hero, Shah Rukh Khan. He jokingly added that he could even play a mosquito in the film just to share screen time with SRK. “Unke liye toh main deewar pe macchar bhi ban sakta hun puri film mein (For him, I can become a mosquito on the wall in the entire film),” he said.
The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously worked with Shah Rukh Khan on Pathaan. King will begin production in March 2025. The movie has already gained attention due to its action-packed sequences and the star-studded cast.
Alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan will play the antagonist in King. This exciting project promises to be a major hit when it is released.
