The Australian cricket team are currently in action in the ongoing 5-match away ODI series against South Africa and they have already won the first match of the series on September 7 by 3 wickets. The Kangaroos are being led by the star allrounder Mitchell Marsh in the absence of their regular skipper Pat Cummins.

Meanwhile, a video of Marsh is getting viral on social media in which he was asked by the former legendary England cricketer Michael Vaughan about who is going to win the upcoming ODI World Cup. He gave 3 options to Marsh which were India, Pakistan and England. Marsh responded by saying that Australia and Pakistan will play the final.

Michael Vaughan: Who is going to win it? India, Pakistan or England?

Mitch Marsh: I honestly think that it will be Australia v Pakistan in the final.

Pakistan vs India on September 10 in Asia Cup 2023

Australia and Pakistan faced each other in the T20 World Cup final in 2021 where the Australian team defeated the Men in Green and lifted the trophy. If both teams somehow make it to the ODI World Cup 2023 final, it would be interesting to see if Pakistan will be able to take their revenge for the 2021 final loss.

Pakistan are currently playing in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 where they haven’t lost a single match so far. However, they will be facing India on September 10 in the Super 4 clash at the R Premedasa Stadium in Colombo. The electrifying contest between the arch-rivals will also have a reserve day if the match gets spoiled due to rain.
