In the tournament, the star batter scored 647 runs at an average of 71.89, at a strike rate of 89.36, including 3 hundred and fifties each. These are very good numbers in a WC edition.

In the recently concluded ODI WC 2023, Warner was very good as well. In 11 innings, Warner scored 535 runs at a batting average of 48.63, at a batting strike rate of 108.30, including 2 hundred and fifties each.
