Indian batters shocked the cricket fans when they turned their ‘Bazball’ mode on in the 2nd innings of the 2nd Test match against West Indies at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. The Men in Blue got the massive 183-run lead after they wrapped up the Windies on the score of just 255 runs thanks to Mohammed Siraj’s fifer.

Meanwhile, India’s wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan, who came to bat at no. 4 and smashed a quick half-century, revealed that Virat Kohli who usually comes at no. 4 sacrificed his position and pushed Kishan to bat ahead. He said that Kohli told him to play his natural game.

“Was really special. I knew what the team needed from me. Everyone backed me. Virat backed me and told me to go and play my game. Let’s hope we will finish the game tomorrow. It was Virat bhai who took the initiative and told me that I should go in. There was a slow left-arm bowler who was bowling. It was a good call for the team. Sometimes you need to take these calls. We had the plan that we will play 10-12 overs after the rain break and score 70-80 runs. We wanted a 370-380 target.” Kishan said in the post-match interview.
