A rumoured link-up between Indian cricketer Shubman Gill and legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara, has been doing the rounds for a few years now. The young celebrities have not publicly addressed anything about the matter, but there have been some incidents that have fueled the rumours. One such instance was when the two were spotted together at a recent event in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, one more Sara had fallen into this ‘dating trap’ with the Indian cricketer. Fans are confused between Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan and Sara Tendulkar. The actress has also been linked with Gill for a very long time and their rumours sparked after they were spotted together on a dinner date. Neither Gill nor Sara has ever opened up about their relationship. However, for the first time, Sara opened up about her rumoured dating with the Indian opening batter.

The ‘Love Aaj Kal’ actress, alongside Ananya Panday, recently appeared on the Indian talk show ‘Koffee With Karan Season 8’ hosted by filmmaker and television personality Karan Johar. In the latest promo of the upcoming episode, Johar can be seen asking Sara about her dating rumours with Gill. The actress rubbished the rumours about her but dropped a major hint about Gill and the other Sara.

Sara replied to Johar: “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechay pada hai (the whole world is after the wrong Sara),” leaving the host and audience in splits.

Notably, Sara Tendulkar was seen cheering for Gill during India’s ongoing World Cup matches. The 26-year-old took the limelight when she gave a standing ovation to the cricketing after his brilliant performance (92 off 92) against Sri Lanka.

Earlier, actress Sara was asked if she would be willing to marry a cricketer like her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, who married former India captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

“I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession),” the 28-year-old told India Today.
