The official anthem song for the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup was released on 20 September. On the same day, the official kit sponsor of Team India, Adidas also released the new jersey for the World Cup with an engaging theme song, named ‘Teen ka dream hai aapna’. They made a minor change in the jerseys as the strips on shoulders have been replaced by India’s tri-colours and seeing that, fans shared their views on social media.

Adidas shared the video with a caption: “1983 ignited the spark. 2011 brought in glory. 2023 marks the beginning of #3KaDream.” It seems that they were claiming that the 1983 ODI World Cup victory ignited the spark. Then, in 2011, the ODI World Cup victory brought glory and this time in 2023, it is time to see the dream of winning the World Cup for the third time. ‘3 Ka Dream’, is a rap song sung by the famous Indian singer Raftaar.

Here is the shared video:

India are set to play in 9 different venues in the 2023 ODI World Cup

Speaking of Team India, they recently won the Asia Cup 2023 and it turned out to be their first multi-nation tournament win since 2018. Now, they will be in action in a three-match home ODI series against Australia, starting on 22 September. After that, they will play two warm-up clashes and then, begin their ODI World Cup campaign on 8 October in Chennai against the Aussies. The Men in Blue are scheduled to play all of their nine matches in nine different venues.

Hence, they are going to be the most travelling side. Only, in Hyderabad, there is no match for Rohit Sharma and his men. Since 2013, India have not won any major title. Hence, the team will look to put an end to that draught this time around in front of the home fans. Currently, India have two ODI World Cup titles to their name; in 1983 when Kapil Dev was the skipper and in 2011, when MS Dhoni was the captain.
