The video capturing this endearing incident features Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan seated between legendary singer Asha Bhosle and Indian Cricket Board Secretary Jay Shah, with Gauri Khan beside Shah. Amidst the high-intensity match, Shah Rukh showcased his gentlemanly side in a gesture that resonated with fans across the globe.

In the video, he is seen insisting on taking an empty cup from the hands of Asha Bhosle, despite her attempting to resist, creating a touching and viral moment. This unexpected act of kindness and humility by Shah Rukh has garnered immense admiration, with fans applauding the star for his thoughtfulness and his down-to-earth nature despite being a global icon. 

Shah Rukh received praise from the fans

Many fans reacted to it and heaped praise on him as a fan wrote, “King Khan is a pure soul.” Another fan appreciated his gesture and wrote, “He is a gentleman for sure and down to earth guy.” However, there were also some fans who trolled SRK as one of them wrote, “He is doing for the camera.”

After India lost the match, Shah Rukh took to social media to appreciate the Indian team for their unforgettable performance in the tournament. He said that the Men in Blue made us proud throughout the tournament.

“The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately, it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. You make us one proud Nation.” he tweeted.
