India skipper Rohit Sharma came into the third game versus Afghanistan under pressure. The 36-year-old had fallen for ducks in his first two games of the series so far. Just when it seemed it finally seemed like he was off the mark umpire Virender Sharma denied it.

Rohit Sharma flicked the ball down the leg side as the ball beat the fielder for a four. Umpire Virender Sharma signalled it leg-byes to make sure Rohit stayed on zero. This incident occurred in the first over of the game.

Afghanistan has already lost the series after India won the games in Mohali and Indore. The visiting bowlers did well as they put the Indian batters under pressure. Virat Kohli was out for a first-ball duck in front of his RCB Fans.

It was one of the funniest moments of the third T20I as Rohit Sharma was left shocked. India’s skipper wasn’t given runs after edging the ball to the boundary for four. Virender Sharma gave it leg-byes and the Indian skipper realized this later.

As the replays came on the big screen, Rohit could be heard saying “Arey Viru, pehle wala thigh pad diya tha kya? Itna bada bad laga hai. Ek toh idhar do zero ban gaya hai”. This conversation brought a smile to the faces of many fans.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was out for four when he was caught by Mohammad Nabi off Fareed Ahmed. There was a loud cheer when Virat Kohli came out to bat in front of his adopted home crowd.

Fareed Ahmed struck again when he beat the former India skipper for pace to dismiss him for a duck. Shivam Dube then became the first wicket for Azmatullah when he was caught by Gurbaz.

Sanju Samson played yet another rash stroke as he tried to hit Fareed Ahmed out of the ground. Veteran Nabi settled under the ball and completed his second catch of the night. At the time of writing, India was placed at 61/4 after ten overs with Rinku Singh and Rohit Sharma batting.
