Former India skipper MS Dhoni had an illustrious career from 2004 to 2019. As a player, he played 350 ODIs, the last one being the dreaded 2019 semi against New Zealand. Apart from this, Dhoni played 90 Tests and 98 T20Is. In his international career, the right-hander has over 15000 runs to his name. As far as the wicketkeeping is concerned, the Ranchi-born has close to 700 catches and close to 200 stumpings.

Talking about his captaincy, the 42-year-old led the team to World Cup wins in 2007 (T20 World Cup), ODI World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013. Meanwhile, a YouTuber IShowSpeed googled him. Notably, the same YouTuber gained a lot of clout after calling Virat Kohli as Why-Rat Kohli. In an old video that is going viral, the YouTuber called Dhoni a librarian.

“Who the f*** is this?” while googling the former Indian captain. He further misinterpreted Dhoni’s role by saying, “He’s a f***ing library teacher… Who is Miss Dhoni?…He’s retired, he don’t even play…cut the bullshit.”

MS Dhoni will decide about his IPL future in the next few months

Since August 2020, he has retired from international cricket. In the last three years, the wicketkeeper batter has turned up for IPL seasons only. During this phase, his team Chennai Super Kings has either won the title (2021 and 2023) or finished second last in the points table (2020 and 2022).

After the IPL final, he said ““Looking for an answer? (He asks Harsha Bhogle after the latter asks him about his legacy) This is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love I have received all over. The easy thing would be to walk away from here, but the harder thing would be working hard for 9 months and try to play another IPL. It would be a gift from me, won’t be easy on the body. You do get emotional, the first game at CSK everyone was chanting my name. My eyes were full of water, I needed to take some time off in the dugout. I realised I need to enjoy this.”
