WATCH: Poet recites wonderful poem to Pakistan players ahead of INDO-PAK game

Ahead of the India vs Pakistan game, a poet recited a poem about the Green Brigade arriving in India for the first time after 2016. Apparently, seven years back, the team came to India for the T20 World Cup. During the tournament, they won only one game. After this, they couldn’t arrive in India for the Asia Cup 2018 due to security reasons.

Apart from this, the bilateral cricket between both teams happened in 2012-13 with three ODIs and two T20Is. After this, both teams are yet to play bilateral cricket due to tense political relations. Meanwhile, ahead of the upcoming Indo-Pak, poet recited a poem to the Green Brigade, who were wearing their match kits.

Pakistan is yet to win against India in ODI World Cups

India and Pakistan started playing each other in the 1992 World Cup, won by the Shaheens. Since then, they are yet to win against India. They came a bit close in the 1999 game but eventually lost. In the 2011 event, both teams played each other in an ODI World Cup knockout. The next game between them will be played on October 14.
