WATCH: Official Anthem for 2023 ODI World Cup gets revealed, Ranveer Singh and Dhanashree Varma shake legs together
On 20 September 2023, the official anthem ‘DIL JASHN BOLE’ for the upcoming ODI World Cup got released. The mega event is all set to begin on 5 October in India as the defending Champion, England will take on New Zealand in the opening game at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
Speaking about the anthem, it seems to be an ecstatic one and the music has been given by the famous Bollywood music director, Pritam. The lyrics were given by Shloke Lal and Saaveri Verma while Pritam, Nakash Aziz, Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, AKASA and Charan sang the song. Charan wrote and performed the rap portion himself.

The ODI World Cup is going to happen from 5 October to 19 September 2023
Famous Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh is the main star in this theme and he was seen shaking legs with Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree Verma. Interestingly, Chahal has not got a place in India’s World Cup squad. Apart from them, many social media influencers like Nick (Be YouNick) and Gaurav Taneja were seen along with the famous sports presenter, Jatin Sapru. Speaking of this upcoming World Cup, it will be the 13th edition of this mega event and fans will be eager to see their respective teams performing. England won the last edition by defeating New Zealand in a thrilling manner in the final.
India is hosting this World Cup and the final is set to happen on 19 September in Ahmedabad. The Men in Blue lost in the semi-final in the last edition and they won the World Cup last time way back in 2011. So, Rohit Sharma and his men will look to put an end to their major trophy draught by winning this tournament. Recently, they won the Asia Cup and it was their first multi-nation tournament win since 2018. So, home fans will look to show their full support to them. 20 November has been kept as a reserved day for the final.
