Meanwhile, in a recent interview on a news channel, Shami’s former wife, Hasin Jahan, discussed his remarkable performance and mentioned that it would enhance his earning potential, ultimately securing their future. The reporter asked Jahan to say something about Shami’s performance in the tournament so far.

She replied, “Kuch bhi hai, accha perform kr rha hai, accha khelega, team main bana rahega, achha kamayega toh humara bhavishya secure rahega. (Whatever it is, if he [Shami] is performing well, will stay in the Indian team and earn well, it will secure our future).”
The reporter then asked Hasin Jahan to send her best wishes for her ex-husband. However, Jahan has no interest in wishing him well for the remaining games. “I will give my best wishes to Team India but not him,” Jahan was quoted as saying by The Free Press Journal.
What happened between Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan?
The relationship between Shami and his ex-wife Hasin Jahan became widely publicized in early 2018 due to a series of controversies and allegations. Hasin Jahan accused Shami of various wrongdoings, including adultery, domestic violence, and financial irregularities.
In March 2018, Hasin Jahan took to social media to make these allegations against Shami, sharing screenshots of text messages and phone conversations as evidence. She also accused Shami of having extramarital affairs with multiple women. This public feud gained significant attention in the media and on social platforms.
Shami denied the allegations and countered with his version of events. The couple also had a legal battle, with Hasin Jahan initially filing a police complaint against Shami and his family members. Subsequently, the matter went to court after which the couple were granted divorce.
