Pakistani veteran actress Mahira Khan, and her long-time beau Salim Karim recently tied the knot, and the wedding videos have taken social media by storm. The couple, who had kept their relationship largely private, delighted fans and well-wishers with their heartwarming union.

The wedding festivities shrouded in an air of elegance and glamour, began with an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. Mahira, known for her mesmerizing beauty and acting prowess, looked radiant in a pastel-coloured lehenga with a veil and matching diamond jewellery, while Salim Karim a businessman and her husband, donned black sherwani with a blue turban.

Mahira tied the not for 2nd time

The wedding videos quickly went viral, with fans and admirers from around the world expressing their happiness and sending their best wishes to the newlyweds. Messages of love and congratulations flooded social media platforms. Mahira has a lot of fans in India as she was seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017-released movie Raees. Interestingly, this is the second time Mahira has tied the knot. Earlier, she married Ali Askari in 2007 but both parted ways in 2015. However, they share a 13-year-old son, Azlan. 

Talking about Mahira’s upcoming projects, she is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series titled “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo,” where she will be acting alongside Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. This show is an adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel and centres around the intricate lives of Sikandar, a law student, and Liza, a gifted artist. The series boasts a stellar cast and is currently in production in Italy, the UK, and Pakistan. Notably, it marks Netflix’s inaugural original series with a Pakistani theme.
