In a riveting moment during the 1st Test between India and South Africa at Centurion, Jasprit Bumrah showcased his brilliance with an extraordinary delivery that left Kagiso Rabada astounded. The delivery not only gave India a sigh of relief but also got them to cheer up after a day full of disappointments.

The delivery was nothing short of a cricketing masterpiece, as Bumrah sent a perfect peach of a delivery, fullish and angling into the off-stump. Rabada, caught on the crease, attempted a defensive shot inside the line, but the ball maintained its trajectory, holding its line and elegantly cartwheeling off-stump.

Here is the video:

The sheer precision and skill demonstrated by Bumrah in executing this delivery left Rabada with no chance, and the dismissal was a testament to the fast bowler’s exceptional control and ability to move the ball. Even Rabada, despite being on the receiving end, walked off the field with a wry smile, acknowledging the sheer quality of the delivery. However, it came too late after India failed to get early breakthroughs on Day 3.

Dean Elgar and Marco Jansen set the game for South Africa

Starting their day with 11 runs, South Africa had a great time in the middle. Dean Elgar has been phenomenal, while Jansen has continued to contribute from the other end. The duo added 111 runs for the sixth wicket. Elgar, in his innings, scored 185 runs off 287 balls with the help of 28 boundaries. On the other hand, Jansen, in his innings, scored an unbeaten 84 runs off 147 balls with the help of 11 fours and a six.

With this, South Africa got the upper hand in the game as they ended their innings with a lead of 163 runs in the 1st inning. India once again had a poor start as skipper Rohit Sharma failed to score a single run. He has been dismissed by Kagiso Rabada for an eight-ball duck. India will now need to bat strongly to stay alive in the game.
