Additionally, Dhoni also won the Commonwealth Bank Series and multiple Asia Cups as a captain of India. The former Indian skipper established his legacy in 2013.

MS Dhoni to lead CSK in IPL 2024

In the IPL 2023, there were fans in every stadium in the league who filled the capacity to support MS. It was reported that 2023 would be the last edition of Dhoni as a player. However, as CSK won the title in the last ball against Gujarat Titans, the former Indian batter announced that it would not be his last season yet in the IPL.

The 42-year-old underwent knee surgery last year after the end of the IPL. While his surgery was successful, Dhoni enjoyed his time off cricket. He will be in action in the IPL 2024 and the fans will be hoping to see him perform well as a batter. Dhoni’s captaincy would play a key role in CSK’s chances of defending the title. The fans are hoping that it will not be the last of Dhoni in the IPL.
