A fan invaded the pitch to meet Rohit Sharma on the first day of the Hyderabad Test. The fan was wearing the jersey of Virat Kohli and wanted to touch the feet of the Indian captain. In the match between India and England, the visiting side ended up getting bundled out for 246 runs in their first innings. Following it, India was up to bat against England.

The opening duo of Rohit and Yashasvi Jaiswal padded up to bat in the third session of the day. As the duo entered the middle to bat, a fan came to meet Rohit. The players were surprised with the invasion of the fans who came to touch the feet of Sharma. The security personnel immediately came to stop the fan from staying longer in the middle.

The fan was then taken out safely from the ground. Rohit asked the security people to take care of the fan well as he was taken safely outside the ground. After the incident happened, India raced away to a good opening stand against England. The openers of India have managed to counter the spinners of England well with an aggressive intent.

Rohit Sharma tears apart the spinners

The left-right combination of Jaiswal and Rohit troubled the England bowlers who were simply poor in their lengths. While the opening duo was aggressive and batted with intent, the bowling of England was not up to the mark at all. After the initial pace burst of Mark Wood with the new ball, Ben Stokes introduced the spin bowlers into the attack from both ends.

The likes of Tom Hartley and Jack Leach were rather too full and wide with their line and lengths. They fed to the Indian openers. The likes of Jaiswal and Rohit were happy to play their shots. While Jaiswal raced away to his fifty in just 47 balls, Rohit was brilliant with his sweep and pull shots. Sharma was also good on cuts and drives. The bowlers were clueless, to say the least.
