The fans of the star batter were pleased with the fact that Azam was concerned about the fan who was damaged by his shot. Henry bowled a short delivery and asked Babar to pull it. The Pakistan opener did exactly that but against the wish of NZ, who tried to tame him. Instead, Babar hit a six and damaged the confidence of the bowler. It was a forgettable day with the ball for Henry and a memorable day with the bat for Azam, although it was a contrasting day for the players regarding the results of their respective teams.

New Zealand sealed the series with 2 games to go

Batting first, NZ scored 224 runs on the board. It was a terrific knock of Finn Allen that took NZ to a good score on the board. The youngster scored 137 runs in 62 balls which included 6 fours and 14 sixes. It damaged the bowlers of Pakistan and forced them to commit mistakes. New Zealand dominated the game against the visiting side and put them under pressure.

Chasing 225, Pakistan never seemed to be in the game. Barring Babar, there was not enough support from the other end. The star batter scored 57 runs in 36 balls in his stay in the middle. The second-highest run scorer in the innings was Mohammad Nawaz, who scored 28(15). Such contributions were not going to be enough to chase a target of 225 runs.
