Naveen-ul-Haq gives warning to Pakistan, India and other major teams ahead of T20 World Cup 2024

Naveen-ul-Haq has claimed that his side would be ready to play well in the T20 World Cup 2024. The Afghanistan pacer has warned the teams not to take Afghanistan lightly and hoped to pull off feats like they did in the ODI WC 2023. In the major ODI tournament, Afghanistan defeated major teams like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and England and left a lasting impression.

Naveen said that Afghanistan is known for T20 cricket. The right-arm pacer added that they are dominant in T20Is. He added that their confidence is high after performing well in the ODI WC 2023. “Afghanistan are renowned for T20 cricket. Afghanistan are dominant when it comes to T20 cricket. We are high on confidence after a good show in the ODI World Cup,” said Naveen.

He added that Afghanistan would carry the momentum forward to challenge India in the ongoing bilateral series and later this year in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean islands and the US. “We are sure that we will carry on the same momentum in the series (vs India) and later on in the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and US,” added the right-arm pacer.

Naveen recently retired from Tests and ODIs to concentrate on T20 cricket. The youngster claimed the injuries as the reason behind his decision. He was also denied the NOC to take part in some of the major leagues in the world. The star pacer of Afghanistan claimed that they have prepared well as a team ahead of the series against India and the T20 WC 2024.

Naveen claimed that the players are working hard to perform well in the T20 WC 2024. He claimed that Afghanistan would be ready by the time of the big tournament. “We have prepared ourselves really well. We are all working hard towards the goal. We have a few series before the World Cup, including the India series, and we will be ready by the time the World Cup arrives,” Naveen concluded in his statement.
