WATCH: Babar Azam gives away jersey to fan, reveals special under-garment
Pakistan Cricket team started their World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 campaign with a brilliant after they whitewashed the recently played 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Pakistan are currently at the No. 1 spot in the WTC 2023-25 points table with 24 points in just 2 points.
Meanwhile, a video is getting viral in Pakistan skipper Babar Azam can be seen gifting his jersey to one of his fans after the 2nd Test in Colombo on July 27. However, little did Babar knows that he will get trolled after giving his jersey, as when Babar removed his shirt, he was seen wearing a sports bra.
However, some experts later revealed that it was not a bra which is usually worn by females. Babar was wearing a bra which athletes wear during practice and training drills. There is a GPS tracker installed inside it which monitors and measures the performance of the players on the field.
Many famous athletes like Lionel Messi, Virat Kohli and others were also spotted many times wearing this kind of GPS tracker earlier. Not many people are aware of it and it was the biggest reason behind their misunderstanding about Babar wearing a sports bra.
Very proud to win the series: Babar Azam
Meanwhile, Babar talked about the series win in the post-match presentation and said that all the credit goes to the players and the coaching staff who have worked hard for the last few months. He also talked about Saud Shakeel and Abdullah Shafique as both were the double-centurion of the series.
“Very proud to win the series, all credit to the boys and the coaching staff who’ve worked hard over the last 3-4 months. Everyone put in their efforts for us to win the series. We ticked all the boxes, and we worked hard on batting and fielding, not a lot of it on the pitch for the pacers, but they bowled really well in both Tests. This is a team game, Saud in the first Test and Abdullah here were outstanding. We are taking it series by series and will try to perform at our best.” Babar said in the post-match presentation.
