It has become a trend for Indian cricketers to visit profound temples from time to time be it Mahabaleshwar or Varanasi. This time Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was seen along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira Sharma at one of the world’s richest temples, Tirupati Balaji. Located in the Tirumala hills of Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati Balaji Temple is one of India’s most prominent places for pilgrimage. The Indian skipper visited the temple ahead of the Asia Cup ODI 2023 and the ODI World Cup 2023.

The photos of the adorable family have gone viral on Twitter with fans reacting to them plentifully. The trio can be seen wearing white. While Ritika and Samaira sported an Indian salwar look, the Indian skipper looked to be wearing a white Kurta with a bright red angavastra. This is not the first time he has been seen with his family inside some temple premises.

Rohit Sharma will next take the pitch in the Asia Cup ODI 2023

Talking of Rohit Sharma’s commitments on the cricket pitch, he was last seen batting in the first ODI against West Indies. He batted in the middle order and remained unbeaten to drive his team home. Later, he was dropped for the next two ODIs alongside Virat Kohli to felicitate chances for younger and less experienced players. He did bat in the two-match Test series, recording scores of 103, 80, and 57 in the three times that he batted. He looked in great touch and will be hoping to continue the scoring form when he next takes the pitch in the coveted Asia Cup 2023.

Notably, Rohit Sharma enjoyed his time off after winning the Test series and the ODI series against West Indies. He flew to California to launch a branch of his popular cricket academy chain called ‘Crickingdom’. It was earlier reported that he has started training for the upcoming mega tournaments; pictures of his workout sessions surfaced earlier. India will open their Asia Cup 2023 campaign against Pakistan on September 2 at Kandy, Sri Lanka.
