Vikrant Massey gives clarification, apologizes for 2018 tweet which has gone viral

Vikrant Massey has apologized for the tweet which he posted back in 2018. A user brought to the limelight the past post of Massey which hurt the sentiments of a lot of people. The tweet has now gone viral and the ‘12th Fail’ actor had to post a clarification message regarding the same. Massey claimed that the context of the tweet was different. 

Vikrant said that there was no intention of him to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. The ‘Mirzapur’ actor accepted that it was immature of him to post the cartoon which had nothing to do with his opinions. Vikrant claimed that he could have avoided posting the cartoon. He accepted that the post was ‘Distasteful’ and understood why the fans were angry with him.  

While Massey was not intentional with his statement, it hurt the feelings of many. Hence, Vikrant understood the situation and apologized for his mistake which he claimed to be unintentional. “And I’d with utmost humility like to apologize to each and everyone who has been hurt,” wrote Vikrant as he apologized to everyone hurt by his past tweet.

The fans were still not happy with the fact that Vikrant posted the message on X in the past. Despite the apology from the actor, the fans have claimed that they did not expect something like it from their dear actor. Vikrant added that he believes in all faiths and religions. He accepted that his tweet in the past was the wrong choice. The ‘12th fail’ actor claimed to have grown up in six years. 

“As you all by now know, that I hold all faiths, beliefs and religions with the highest possible regard. We all grow up with time and reflect upon our mistakes. This was mine. Regards,” added Massey in his statement. ‘12th fail’ was a sleeper hit for Vikrant which was very essential for his capabilities. The actor has got recognition from the movie and would love to ride on the momentum.
