Indian social media influencer, Uorfi Javed is known for her bold and unique fashion style which often breaks the internet and brings the storm on social media. Many fans like her unique fashion sense, while many also troll her for wearing too bold outfits sometimes. She has also been seen in multiple Television serials.

Meanwhile, Uorfi has once again turned heads after posting a picture on her Instagram account. Continuing her unique fashion tricks, the model can be seen wearing tomatoes as her earrings. On July 18, Uorfi posted a picture in which she can be seen eating raw tomato and wearing them as earrings due to the inflated price of tomatoes in most of the states in India.

Nowadays, most middle-class families’ weekly vegetable expenditures will be consumed by the cost of a kilogramme of tomatoes. While tomato prices in North India have reached as high as INR 200 per kilogramme, the rest of the nation has also been paying up to INR 150 for 1 KG. What’s worse is that the prices show no significant signs of going down, and because of the constant rain, it’s possible that other crops and grains will follow suit.

I’ve always bargained for the best prices: Suniel Shetty

Apart from Uorfi, earlier, Bollywood veteran actor Suniel Shetty also talked about the sky-touching prices of tomatoes and said that he is also a restaurateur. Suniel even revealed that he often bargains to get the thing at the best prices. However, he believes that the rising prices of tomatoes will force people to compromise on taste and quality. Talking about his upcoming projects, Suniel might feature once again in the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3.

“I am also a restaurateur, and I’ve always bargained for the best prices. But with the rising prices of tomatoes, people have had to compromise on taste and quality. I have too (compromised).” Suniel was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
