Returning to Dimri, she faced significant backlash for her intimate scene with Ranbir Kapoor in the movie. Addressing the criticism, the actress acknowledged feeling disturbed, especially considering it was the first time she encountered such intense scrutiny. Despite this, she candidly admitted that as an actor, overcoming challenges and facing difficulties is an integral part of the profession.

“The scene is getting a lot of criticism as well. It did disturb me initially because I am someone who has hardly faced criticism, very little with my first few films. I was taken aback but I sat myself down and I thought about it. The day I decided to become an actor, nobody forced me to become an actor, I wanted to do it because I found it exciting. As I started doing it, the characters that I was playing, it was healing a part of me and I started having fun, started finding joy in challenges and everything that was coming my way,” Dimri was quoted as saying by News 18.

“That is how I want to go about with acting in life as well. As long as I am comfortable, as long as people around me on set are making me comfortable, as long as I know what I am doing is right, I am not doing anything wrong, I am going to do it. Because that is something I want for myself, as an actor and as a human being. That is something I want to experience,” she added.
