‘God and King of cricket’ – Fans react as Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli get invited for consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya

Meanwhile, the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, has reportedly extended invitations to two prominent cricketing figures of India. Both cricketers have been invited to participate in the pran pratishtha ceremony, joining dignitaries such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) head Mohan Bhagwat, who were among the first to receive invitations when the foundation stone was laid in August 2020.
Invitations are now in the process of being sent to various dignitaries, with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra overseeing the arrangements. Notable individuals like Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Ratan Tata, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, and select journalists are expected to be invited. Additionally, approximately 6,000 priests and saints are anticipated to grace the auspicious occasion.
