Suhana Khan’s comment on Alia Bhatt’s outfit goes viral

Alia Bhatt re-wore her wedding outfit during the National Awards 2023, which seemed to have impressed Suhana Khan very much. The daughter of Shah Rukh Khan recently spoke about the wedding outfit of Alia in an interview, when she was talking about role models. Suhana took the example of Alia wearing her wedding outfit as something incredible and much-needed.

“Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards and I think as somebody with a platform, who has an influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message,” said Suhana while talking about role models in an interview. Suhana felt that the influential ones like Alia wearing it were game-changing in many ways, as normal people would follow the same.

Suhana felt that if Alia re-wore the outfit of her wedding at a party, then others could also repeat it. “She did that and she took a stand towards sustainability. If Alia Bhatt can re-wear her wedding saree, then we can also repeat an outfit for a party. We don’t need to buy a new outfit,” said Suhana, who seemed to be highly impressed with Alia’s dress at the National Awards 2023.

During the award ceremony, Alia shined with her outfit. Suhana took note of it and claimed that such gestures can change several practices in society. Suhana was in a promotional event for her debut movie ‘The Archies’, where she talked about the outfit of Alia.

The 23-year-old felt that it is good to re-wear costumes, rather than making new ones, which impacts biodiversity and the environment. “We don’t realize but making new garments creates waste which impacts our biodiversity and environment.
