Shikhar Dhawan expresses his pain of ‘November 19’ referring to an ad

Shikhar Dhawan had an interesting take on an ad from a brand. The ad’s theme is about solutions to all the problems through a doctor. Referring to the same, the former Indian opener shared the video of the ad and remembered the fateful day of the Indian fans. Yes, it is the 19th of November in 2023, when India lost the final against Australia. 

It was one such match where the entire country suffered pain. India has not been able to stand the loss to date. Many fans have not been able to recover from the shocking loss. Many refer to it as one of the lowest points in Indian cricket. The fact that India was declared the favourite to win the tournament yet could not achieve the goal surprised many. 

Shikhar being an Indian fan himself expressed his disappointment. Taking to X, the Southpaw asked the doctor in the ad to provide a solution to those who are suffering from the pain of November 19th. “Doctor Sahab jo log abhi bhi 19 Nov se aage nahi badh paaye hai unke liye bhi koi solution bata do,” wrote Dhawan on X. 

Australia’s brilliance in the ODI World Cup final 2023

Australia defeated India in the final of the ODI WC 2023. Till that point in the tournament, India had not lost a match. It came as a surprise to many fans and critics. Pat Cummins, the skipper of Australia, had claimed to silence the Indian crowd with their performance in the final. They walked the talk as India was beaten by the visiting side in the big match. 

Travis Head played a sensational knock with the bat as he scored 137 runs in 120 balls. Chasing a modest total of 241, India had Australia at 55/3 at one stage. However, the brilliance of Head took the game away from India. Australia won the title for the record 6th time. It was regarded as one of the greatest wins by a team in the history of the ODI World Cup.
