Shaheen Afridi shares beautiful picture with his wife from wedding, melts hearts on internet
All the teams participating in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 in India, have started preparing for it. The grand tournament will take place on October 5 and will be concluded on November 19. The tournament will be very exciting as almost all the teams are looking very strong and competitive.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket team’s premium fast bowler Shaheen Afridi got married for the second time with his wife Ansha just ahead of the major world tournament. He took to his social media handle and shared some adorable pictures of him with his wife with a beautiful caption, which reads, “Thank you, everyone, for the warm and lovely wishes. Here, is to the beginning of love and laughter with the special one.” he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Pakistan to play without Naseem Shah in ODI World Cup
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam also attended the wedding amid the rumoured rift between him and the pacer. He also shared a picture with Shaheen and shut down all the alleged and fake rumours of a dispute between them. Many other Pakistani cricketers also attended the wedding and wished the couple for a better future.
The Men in Green had a very disappointing run in the recently concluded Asia Cup 2023 where they were eliminated from the Super Fours stage after losing 2 matches which were against India and Sri Lanka. On top of that, they also suffered a major setback as their young fast bowler Naseem Shah got his shoulder injured during a match against India and is now ruled out of the entire ODI World Cup.
Their other pacer, Haris Rauf was also injured during the Asia Cup and didn’t play the remaining matches of the tournament. However, he was included in the World Cup squad but it’d be interesting to see if he will be seen playing in the initial matches of the World Cup or not.
