The film, directed by Atlee, was released on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. According to a press release by the production house, ‘Jawan’ earned INR 733.37 crore in the domestic market and INR 369.90 crore in the international market, establishing itself as a monumental success. 

The movie is based on the emotional journey of a man determined to correct societal injustices. Shah Rukh takes on the dual roles of Vikram Rathore and his son Azad in the film, with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi as co-stars, and special appearances by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
