WATCH: Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone dance on viral Jawan song ‘Chaleya’

At a press conference held on September 15 at the Yash Raj Films Studios in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and the whole ‘Jawan’ crew toasted the movie’s extraordinary success. The movie has made approximately 700 crores at the global box office since its September 7 premiere.

Deepika claimed that SRK and Atlee approached her while she was in Hyderabad filming for ‘Project K’ and explained her part in the movie. She claimed that the significance of her character’s impact on the story, rather than its duration, was more important.

At the success bash, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan also went on to shake a leg together on the stage. The pictures and videos from the press conference and success party of Jawan have gone viral on the internet. However, what struck out the most was SRK and Deepika’s dance. The perfect on-screen pair were seen dancing to the song ‘Chaleya’.

Earlier, we had reported that in a candid conversation, Deepika disclosed that she didn’t charge anything for her extended cameo in the film Jawan. According to her, she has never charged for her cameos. Also, she went on to claim that SRK and her are each other’s lucky charm.

Regarding her work with SRK, she remarked, “When Shah Rukh and I collaborate, it’s not simply co-stardom; it’s not formal; there is just a lot of love, and it always shows through in our work.” Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut in ‘Om Shanti Om’ with Shah Rukh Khan, and who has subsequently worked on a number of films, spoke about her experience making ‘Jawan’ and her admiration for the film’s concept.
