Hero of the ODI World Cup 2023 final, Travis Head is set to put his name up for auctions. Dubai is set to host the event as all ten teams will make a bid for their favorite players. Travis Head could command a lot of money after his recent exploits with the bat.

The 29-year-old is not only an explosive batter but is also more than decent with his off-spin bowling. Last year Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, and Harry Brook stole all the headlines as each of three players were brought for huge sums of money.

Mitchell Starc yet another member of the ODI World Cup winning team is also set to take part in the IPL auctions. The left-arm-pacer last played in the IPL for RCB during the 2015 season. A few months ago Mitchell Starc had confirmed his interest to play in the 2024 IPL.

Australian skipper Pat Cummins is another that the teams will want to target during the upcoming auctions. The 30-year-old had skipper the 2023 IPL season to focus on his international commitments.

Devdutt Padikkal and Avesh Khan have swapped teams as Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants are close to agreeing a deal. Earlier in the window, Romario Shepherd was bought by the Mumbai Indians from Lucknow Super Giants.

As far as Travis Head is concerned, the 29-year-old is set to be part of the five-match-T20 series against India. Visakhapatnam is set to host the first game on Thursday as Suryakumar Yadav and Matthew Wade will lead their respective sides.
