Rohit Sharma has spoken about Virat Kohli with the broadcasters recently. In the ongoing Test between India and England, Rohit was asked to speak about Virat, who has opted himself out of the 1st two Tests of the series due to personal reasons. The star batter is likely to return to the squad from the third Test and the fans would be hoping for him to perform well.

When asked about Virat Kohli in the interview, Rohit said that the star batter is very passionate and dedicated to his game. The Indian captain added that Virat is always hungry to perform for his team. Rohit felt that youngsters must look up to Virat for his passion and dedication. Rohit considered himself lucky to have watched Virat closely over the years.

“Virat Kohli’s passion and dedication is amazing. He’s always hungry to do well for the team. Youngsters should look up to him for passion and dedication, I’m lucky to watch him closely,” said Rohit. It is worth noting that Virat is one of the fittest players Cricket has ever seen. Rohit talked about the same and felt that one must follow the routine Virat does in order to have longevity.

Speaking about the fitness of the experienced player, Rohit claimed Virat has never been to NCA for getting injured. Rohit claimed it to be an achievement in itself. “Virat Kohli has never been to the NCA in his career, this says something about him and his fitness,” added Rohit in his statement. The Indian captain has been put under the weather in the ongoing Hyderabad Test against England.

The visiting side has continued to put India under pressure by batting out of their skins. Ollie Pope scored 180 runs by the end of the 1st hour of the play on the 4th day. England currently lead by 200 runs in the match. India might have to chase a big total in their 4th innings to win the 1st match of the series.
