Rohit Sharma gave a cheeky suggestion to Ravindra Jadeja to avoid bowling no-balls during the second day of the ongoing Test match between India and England at Rajkot. The Indian captain was caught having the say on Jadeja’s bowling in the stump mic. Rohit was not happy with the number of no-balls delivered by Jadeja in the match. But he had a funny take on it.

The left-arm off-spinner bowled two no-balls in consecutive deliveries, which is poor for a spinner. The Indian captain gave a funny suggestion to the 35-year-old. Rohit claimed Jadeja to not deliver as many no-balls in the IPL. He asked Jadeja to think of it as a T20 game to reduce the number of no-balls. Sharma was heard suggesting Hindi.

“Yaar, ye Jadeja IPL mein to itne No Balls nahi dalta. T20 samajh ke bowling kar, Jaddu. (Man, Jadeja doesn’t bowl this many no-balls in IPL. Think it’s a T20 game and bowl),” Rohit was heard speaking to Jadeja on the stump mic. The fans have a funny take on the suggestion of Rohit who seems to be always animated in the field and even outside of it.

Ben Duckett’s hundred puts England in the driver’s seat

India started the 2nd day of the Rajkot Test on a good note. While India lost the wickets of overnight batters like Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja, the debutant Dhruv Jurel was joined by the experienced campaigner Ravichandran Ashwin. The duo framed a good partnership and helped India’s revival in the first session. Jurel scored 46 runs in the first innings and impressed the fans.

Even Jasprit Bumrah added some runs down the order and ensured India scored 445 runs in the first innings. What followed it was the counterattack of Ben Duckett. The Southpaw was all over the bowlers and scored his maiden ton in India. The opener has remained unbeaten with a score of 133*(118), which has threatened the home side to take the game away from them.
