‘Reitrement ke baad ka plan hai ye’ – Fans react as Rohit Sharma helps children for eye test during awareness programme

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is currently preparing for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. He is currently rested from the ongoing 3-match T20I series against Ireland and India’s premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah is leading the side in his absence. Rohit didn’t even play the last 2 ODI matches of the 3-match ODI series against West Indies. 

Meanwhile, Rohit took some time from his hectic schedule and attended an awareness programme arranged by a leading eyewear brand Oakley. An image also went viral from the event where the right-handed batter was seen helping a kid for an eye test. Many fans reacted to the image and lauded Rohit for his kind gesture.

Rohit also spoke to the children and narrated the struggles he did in his life to become one of the most successful Indian cricketers of this generation. He also participated in multiple sports events with the kids. Rohit talked about the opportunity to be part of this empowering event.

As Rohit and co. are gearing up for the Asia Cup, the Men in Blue will also be thinking about the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 which is set to be kicked off on October 5. The tournament will be hosted by India which will be very beneficial for the Indian team.
