Ranchi on high alert as terrorist Gurupatwant Singh Pannun warns of interrupting India vs England Test match
A terrorist named Gurupatwant Singh Pannun has threatened to disrupt the match between India and England. The warning has been detected ahead of the 4th Test between the two teams which is set to take place from the 23rd to the 27th of February in Ranchi. Following the warnings, security has been tightened in the state of Jharkhand.
Gurupatwant Singh Pannun is a terrorist backed by the USA who is in demand of a separate country. The group handled by Pannun was tracked down by the police on social media. Their posts claimed to threaten the match in Ranchi and called the CPI (Maoist) group to disrupt the match. It is worth noting that CPI (M) was banned long back in India.
It looks like a collaboration between two anti-national bodies. Following the threats from Pannun, security has been tightened, which has affected the camps in England. The visiting side went through high-security protocols given the warning from the separatist group. There was a press meeting regarding the same where the DSP of Hatia, P K Mishra spoke about the incident. While India is currently leading the series 2-1, none are breathing easy.
India vs England fourth Test under threat
Gurupatwant Singh Pannun has threatened the India and England teams to cancel the match in Ranchi. He also urged the CPI (Maoist) to create disturbance to cancel the match. An FIR has been lodged against him at Dhurwa police station under the IT Act and an investigation has been initiated,” claimed P K Mishra. Pannun came to the fore in 2019 with his intention to harm India.
The NIA commenced proceedings in court against him and found out his threat to the country by knowing about his share of assets in Chandigarh and Punjab. Since then, his involvement in harming India and the backing from the US has been found out. The latest developments have caused signs of worry among fans regarding the 4th Test. There is worry regarding the safety of the players and the fans in the city.
