Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt win big in Filmfare awards 2024

The 69th Filmfare Awards saw very good performances and the Kapoor couple won big in the event. It took place at Gandhinagar on Sunday, which was hosted by Karan Johar. Some of the major stars in the industry attended the event. Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor, and Karishma Kapoor performed in the event and lit up the stage with grace.

In the Best Film (Popular) category, ‘12th Fail‘ emerged victorious. Likewise, the best film according to the Critics was ‘Joram’. Vidhu Vinod Chopra won the award for the Best Director for his movie ’12th fail’. Rani Mukherji won the award for Best Actress in critics category for her performance in ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’. Vikranth Massey won the Best Actor award in the Critics category for his role in ’12th Fail’.

Best Actor in a Supporting role in the male category was bagged by Vicky Kaushal for his cameo in ‘Dunki’. The same award in the female category was bagged by Shabana Azmi for her role in ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani’. Amitabh Bhattacharya won the award for Best Lyrics for his song ‘Tere Vaaste’. Best music album was rightfully won by the team of ‘Animal’.

Kapoor couple win big in Filmfare Awards 2024

Alia Bhatt won the award for the Best Actress in a Leading role for her role in the movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani’. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor won the award for the Best Actor in the lead role for his role of Ranvijay Singh in ‘Animal. The Kapoor couple won the two major individual awards in the night and enjoyed it by dancing to a song from ‘Animal‘.

Bhupinder Babbal won the award for Best Playback singer in male’s category for ‘Arjun Vailly’ from ‘Animal’. Shilpa Rao won the award for the same in female’s category for ‘Besharam Rang’. Amit Rai won the award for Best Story for ‘OMG 2′. Vidhu Vinod Chopra won the award for the Best Screenplay for his movie ’12th fail’, Ishita Moitra won the award for Best Dialogues for her work in ‘Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahaani’.
