Indian film industry superstar Rajinikanth is all set to make his comeback on the big screen with his upcoming action-thriller Jailer which is set to be released on Thursday, August 10 in your nearest theatres. The movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and it is expected that the movie will be full of exciting action scenes.

Meanwhile, even before its release Jailer has already some records as it surpassed Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu record of highest advance bookings. According to some sources, Jailer has already earned more than INR 13 crores through advance bookings. It also shattered OMG 2 and Gadar 2 in terms of advance bookings.

Jailer has managed to earn more than 7 Lakhs tickets on the online ticket booking app ‘Book My Show’ as of Tuesday. With all these figures, it is anticipated that the movie is set to destroy all the records in 2023. It has the potential to become the most successful movie of the year not just in the Tamil movie industry but all around the country.

Rajinikanth back on the big screens after 2 years

Rajinikanth was last seen in his 2021 released movie Annaatthe which did great work at the box office but couldn’t stay at the theatres for long as the fans and critics didn’t give great reviews to the movie. However, considering the massive fan following of Rajinikanth in the country, it is expected that Jailer may become Thalaivar’s all-time blockbuster movie.

Apart from the movie, its song ‘Kaavaalaa’ has been doing really well on social media. The song is all over the internet as the fans are making reels and videos of the song. Tamannaah Bhatia nailed the song with her dance moves and the music produced by Anirudh did justice to the song.

The movie can affect the release of two Bollywood movies OMG 2 and Gadar 2. Both movies are set to be released this month and the release of Jailer will definitely put an effect on their business.
