The rumours started spreading after Hegde returned from her visit to Dubai. The rumours were that she received death threats during her stay in the Gulf city. It shocked many fans as they asked about the safety of the actress.

Pooja’s last movie appeared in the month of April earlier this year, as she had a release with Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi ka bhai kisi ki jaan’. The film could not mint money at the box office. Her next assignment would be an action thriller with Shahid Kapoor. The title of her next movie is ‘Deva’.
Siddharth Roy Kapur is set to produce the movie. It is set to be directed by Rosshan Andrews. The film is likely to be released on the 11th of October next year. Pooja is likely to be in Housefull 5 as well, which includes many star actors like Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Chunky Pandey.
