‘No woman can ever match his mood swings’ – Fans react as Gautam Gambhir says MS Dhoni is his favourite batting partner
Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is often seen expressing dissatisfaction over fans attributing the 2011 ODI World Cup victory solely to former legendary Indian captain MS Dhoni. Both Gambhir and Dhoni played crucial roles in India’s success during the tournament, with Gambhir’s match-winning innings in the final against Sri Lanka being particularly memorable.
Meanwhile, in a surprising turn of events, Gambhir recently revealed that his favourite batting partner is none other than Dhoni. Gambhir mentioned that he loved playing with Dhoni more than former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, especially in the white-ball format.
“My favourite cricketing partner was MS Dhoni. People think that my favourite partner was Virender Sehwag but I actually loved playing more with Dhoni, especially in white-ball cricket.” Gambhir said in an interview with Sportskeeda.
Gautam Gambhir is back KKR camp as a mentor
Talking about Dhoni, he will be seen in action in the upcoming 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is speculated to be his final season. Despite a knee injury earlier in the year during IPL 2023, he has assured his fans that he will be participating in the next edition. The iconic former captain of India recently enjoyed quality time with his family in Uttarakhand, including a visit to his ancestral village in the Almora district.
On the other hand, Gambhir, who was recently a commentator in the concluded ODI World Cup 2023, made a surprising announcement. He has parted ways with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as a mentor and is now set to mentor his former team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in the upcoming season.

“As I announce the end of my impeccable journey with Lucknow Super Giants, I am filled with love and immense gratitude towards all the players, coaches, support staff and every individual who has made this journey memorable. I would like to thank Dr Sanjiv Goenka for his inspiring leadership while creating this remarkable franchise and for his tremendous support of all my endeavours. I’m sure that the team will do wonders in the future and will make every LSG fan proud. All the very best LSG brigade!” Gambhir said in the statement.

Barmuda mystery has been solved long ago…but gambhir is still a mystery…

He is just reminding that MS and him won the World Cup . Rohit and Virat couldn't.

Its no mystery. His problem with Dhoni has always been the full credit people gave him for WC 2011, else he has never said anything about Dhoni.
