Nawazuddin Siddiqui makes huge claim on future of Bollywood

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has his take on the future of Bollywood. The talented actor has claimed Bollywood to not have a great future in the upcoming days due to many reasons. In an interview recently, Nawazuddin was asked about the differences between movies being made in the 1990s of those made currently in Bollywood. Siddiqui expressed the difference between the two.

The actor of ‘Haddi‘ compared how Bollywood was in the past to that of its nature currently. He felt that the movies were struggling to survive. The versatile actor claimed that there used to be a balance between commercial and story-oriented movies back in time and added that it is not the case today. Siddiqui felt that it has to do with what the audience expects from the movies these days.

Siddiqui felt that there was no freshness in the concept of the movies. He added that the same type of movies are made with a difference in costumes, actors, and makeup. Siddiqui claimed the future of Bollywood to be hopeless. “Same films are being made, just with different actors, costumes, makeup. I am hopeless about the future,” said Nawazuddin in the interview.

Siddiqui further added that people are optimistic about the future of the industry. However, he believed that there has been a change in the taste of the audience over the years, particularly after the Pandemic. While Nawazuddin acknowledged that change is the only constant, he felt that Cinema must be able to survive and added that it has not been the case.

“A lot of people are optimistic, but it has been quite clear that the audience likes to watch a certain type of film, which is good, they must. But cinema of every kind should survive, which isn’t happening,” added Nawazuddin in his statement in the interview. The star actor was recently seen in the movie named ‘Haddi’. In the upcoming days, Siddiqui might be working with several top stars, one of them being Hrithik Roshan.
