Nasser Hussain has spoken about Virat Kohli’s return to the Indian team for the last three Tests. Speaking about the potential changes for the third Test, Nasser spoke of Virat. The former England captain has felt that it could change the attitude of the Indian team. Nasser claimed that a ruthless version of the Indian team could be seen on the field with the return of Kohli.

“If Virat Kohli is back for the last 3 Tests, then a more ruthless version of the Indian team can be seen on the field,” Nasser claimed. Virat was not a part of the first two Tests of the series as he opted himself out of them due to a personal reason. As the Indian squad for the last three Tests is to be announced, the star batter is likely to return to the side.

Nasser felt that India was sloppy on the field for three out of the four innings in the first two Tests. Hussain felt that Rahul Dravid would be looking at some of those dismissals. “The one thing about India is that in three of their four innings, they have been a bit sloppy. I know Rahul Dravid, and he would have been ticking inside at some of the dismissals so far,” Nasser claimed.

Kohli is absolutely ruthless’ – Nasser Hussain

Hussain added that India would feel like they allowed the visiting side to make a return in the game with their fielding. He added that the return of Virat would force the players to be aggressive and ruthless. “India will think, ‘We keep on giving England a sniff here, let’s be more ruthless’,” said Hussain.

The former England batter added that Virat walks the talk by being aggressive himself.  “And the one thing Kohli is, is absolutely ruthless,” Hussain added. India will be up against England in the third Test from the 15th to the 19th of February at Rajkot. Before the Test, England will spend some time with their family in Abu Dhabi.
