Munawar Faruqui gets past Abhishek Kumar to win 17th edition of Bigg Boss

Munawar Faruqui has emerged out the winner of the 17th edition of the Bigg Boss house. It was obvious given the way the fans had literally been behind him since he made an impact in the house. Abhishek Kumar ended up being the runner up. For winning the event, Munawar was given a trophy along with a cash prize of INR 50 lakhs and a Hyundai Creta.

Along with the final two contestants, the three other participants to make to the final were Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mashetty also made it to the final. Salman Khan announced Faruqui as the winner who was towards his left. Abhishek seemed disappointed as he could not win the trophy. Faruqui however was the happiest in the night and attained glory.

From ‘Lock room’ to winning hearts, it took a lot of efforts for Munawar to win the trophy. It was not an easy ride. But Munawar overcame all the challenges posted to him. In particular, he won the hearts of the fans after the way he overcame the challenge of Ayesha. In the house, Faruqui had several moments. He had a roller coaster of a journey and ended up being the highlight in most of the events.

The eventual winner felt that his focus was always about winning the trophy and added that he never got distracted from it. Faruqui added that he overcame all the problems and did a favor for himself to be the winner of the Bigg Boss 17.

“I went inside the Bigg Boss 17 house to win the show and not even for a second I forgot about my dream or goal. There were distractions and I felt I had to distract myself from the game and fix the problems,” said Faruqui after winning the final. Salman Khan himself congratulated Munawar for his incredible achievement and wished him the luck for his future goals.
