Makers of Joker 2 drop new look, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix look stunning

The new look of ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ is out. The director of the sequel of ‘Joker’, the 2019 movie took to social media platforms and uploaded the new look. Todd Phillips, the director of the movie, shared the images of the lead actor and lead actress and wrote “Hoping your day is full of love. 10. 4. 24,” on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. 

The Hollywood movie stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in the lead roles. While Joaquin continues to star in the sequel, just like he did in the prequel, Lady Gaga has been the new addition for the sequel. In the sequel, Lady Gaga will be playing the role of Harley Quinn (Harleen Quinzell). Joaquin will be back as ‘The Joker’ in the hope of impressing the audience. 

For his acting in the movie, Phoenix won the Academy Awards for the ‘Best Actor in the Lead Role’ category in 2020. The prequel of the movie was sensational. Both the critics and the common audience were impressed with the work. As a result, the movie received good reviews all over the world. The cast and crew would be hoping to pull off something similar this time around too.  

Three new looks of Joker 2

The new look has certainly impressed the fans who are raving about it on social media. Phillips uploaded three images featuring the lead actors. One of those looks seems raw and at the point. In the still, Lady Gaga can be seen staring at the eyes of Joker with love and care. In the second still, Lady Gaga and Phoenix are on the outside and inside of a room with contrasting emotions. 

Todd took to Instagram and posted the location as ‘Gotham City’. In the third look, Joaquin can be seen dipping Gaga on the terrace with a comical background. While the first look was released in the colour background, the other two posters featured black and white backgrounds. The fans have expressed their wish to watch the movie on big screens on the 10th of April later this year.
