‘Ek joker kya kam tha’ – Fans react as X user credits Shah Rukh Khan for release of 8 Indian navy officers from Qatar

A user on X has made several claims to declare Shah Rukh Khan the reason behind the return of the eight Indian navy officers from Qatar. The user took to X and posted some of the images of Shah Rukh with the high officials of Qatar. In the process, the user claimed the ‘Bollywood Badshah’ as the reason behind the great achievement of India.  

The Indian external affairs minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and his team were responsible for the return of the eight Indian navy officers who were innocent but were unnecessarily being held in the jail of Qatar. The eight officers were also sentenced to death by the court of Qatar. There was huge outrage on the internet by the Indian users. It forced the government to take steps. 

Indian diplomacy helped to nullify the death sentence of the officers. It seems like the officials in Qatar were misinformed about the Indian Navy officers. The achievement of the Indian government has been lauded by the common people. The users online have been appreciating the efforts of everyone involved in rescuing the Navy officers.

India left no stone unturned to get back their heroes. However, the bizarre claim of the user on X has led to netizens trolling him left, right, and centre. Some of the users have pointed out the fact that the Bollywood superstar was not in conversation with the officials from Qatar and claimed it to be an image from a different event. The user claimed SRK had gone to Qatar to plead with the officials. 

“SRK personally went to Qatar and pleaded for the release of 8 naval officers directly to the emir of Qatar. What a man Where everybody fails, SRK took upon him & ensured release. What a Nationalist … Gem of India,” wrote the user on X. The fans have brutally trolled the user for his premature take on the incident. The netizens have appreciated those involved in getting the navy officers back to the country.
