Indian cricket team are rolling high in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 with their 3 consecutive victories in the tournament. They are currently the table toppers with 6 points in 3 matches and will be playing their 4th match against Bangladesh on October 19 in Pune.

Meanwhile, a video of Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav from the ODI World Cup 2023 match has gone viral. The short video that made its way to X captures Yadav’s reaction while he was seen snacking on food in Team India’s dugout. Several other players were seated with Yadav while he was eating something with a spoon from his tiffin box. As the camera zoomed in on Yadav, he glanced at it for a second before looking away, and it was his expression at that moment that was viral-worthy content.

However, a user reacted to the video and took a dig at Suryakumar by saying, “Sir dugout mein baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do chaar 6 maarke aao (Sir, what do you eat sitting in the dugout, go to the ground and hit some sixes).” Suryakumar took notice of this tweet and came up with a hilarious reply. He said, “Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai (Give orders on Swiggy, not tot me)”. He tweeted.

Will Suryakumar Yadav get to make his World Cup debut?

The video is from India’s first match of the World Cup where they clashed against Australia and defeated them by 6 wickets. India have played 3 matches in the tournament so far but Suryakumar is yet to make his ODI World Cup debut. It’d be interesting to see if he gets to play in any of the matches in the ongoing major tournament. 

The right-handed batter will only get a place in the squad if both Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul get rested as Ishan Kishan will be the first replacement and Suryakumar will be the 2nd. However, the Indian team management must not be thinking about this as both Iyer and Rahul are doing quite well in the middle order.
