Kartik Aaryan set to be honoured by Victorian Government with Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award at IFFM
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been one of the few stars only who have managed to produce multiple superhit movies after the pandemic. After his phenomenal performance in two of his blockbuster movies Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kartik is set to receive the Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).
Kartik will receive the award at the annual gala night of the festival on Day 1, August 11. The 32-year-old actor will receive the award from the Governor of Victoria. Meanwhile, Kartik expressed his feelings about getting honoured by the Victorian government and said that it’s a great privilege for him as his work is getting recognised globally.
”I am deeply honoured and grateful to the Victorian Government and the festival for this prestigious award and humbled to be celebrated at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. It is a tremendous privilege to receive this recognition for my work in Indian cinema. I have always believed in the power of storytelling and the ability of films to touch hearts and inspire minds. I look forward to celebrating the magic of cinema together,” Kartik was quoted as saying by Devdiscourse.

IFFM director Mitu Bhowmick Lange also talked about Kartik and said that the actor enjoys a massive fanbase in Australia and having Kartik at the festival will be a thrill for them. He said that Kartik has contributed exceptionally well to Bollywood.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Kartik Aaryan at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. He is much-loved worldwide, especially in Australia and the diversity of his performances is very admirable. His contributions to Indian cinema in the young generation have been exceptional. We are excited to honour him with the Rising Global Superstar Of Indian Cinema award and looking forward to hosting him at the event,” Mitu was quoted as saying by Economic Times.
