Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, prominent figures in the comedy world, have long been known for their public disputes. However, fans were pleasantly surprised when a video surfaced featuring both comedians together, suggesting a reconciliation remindful of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan’s famous patch-up.

In a recently released promo for Kapil‘s upcoming show on Netflix, it was revealed that Sunil has rejoined the team. The video quickly went viral, showcasing not only Kapil and Sunil but also other team members such as Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh sharing the frame.

The promo begins with Kapil introducing himself, followed by Sunil Grover’s entrance. Kapil announces, ‘Hi friends, I am Kapil Sharma, and I am coming with a show soon.’ Sunil echoes the sentiment, and Kapil suggests they go together. The banter continues as they discuss the global reach of the show, with Sunil humorously mentioning skipping Australia referring to their infamous fight, and Kapil responding that Australia is eagerly awaiting them, proposing a road trip this time. After that, the whole team join them and Kapil ends up saying, “Our family is complete now, and we are coming soon.”

This marks a significant development as Sunil Grover, who played the popular characters Gutthi and Doctor Gulati on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show,’ had distanced himself from the program in 2018 following a major controversy with Kapil. The rift between the two comedians escalated during a flight back to Mumbai after a show in Australia, leading to Sunil’s abrupt departure from the show. Kapil had addressed the controversy in an interview.

“I never fought with Sunil, I love working with the best people in the industry. When I had started working on Comedy Circus I had asked the makers to get Sunil on board whom I had met on Hass Baliye. When you work with the best people, you learn a lot,” Kapil was quoted as saying by News 18.
