Simple Suni, a Kannada director, has made a huge claim on the future of RCB. The popular director has claimed that RCB could not win the trophy in the next three seasons. The director of ‘Ondu Sarala Prema Katha’ was in the promotion of his upcoming movie. He appeared in an interview along with the lead actors like Vinay Rajkumar and Mallika Singh.

In the interview with Anushree, the popular anchor of Karnataka, he was asked about the chances of RCB in the upcoming season. “People keep telling me RCB shouldn’t win. They say if RCB win then there would not be any opportunity to mock the fans anymore. So, what’s your take on this and your prediction for RCB in the upcoming seasons?” asked the anchor.

It is worth noting that RCB has not won the IPL in the last 16 seasons. Although RCB have made it to the final three times, they have not been able to achieve the ultimate glory in the league. It has led to their fans being trolled by the fans of other franchises. RCB is touted to be a franchise that could never win the cup in the IPL. However, they would be willing to change the norm.

The squad does not even have a proper spinner’ – Simple Suni

In IPL 2024, RCB have a good chance of making it to the playoffs. The big trade of Cameron Green was a tactical decision from RCB which could help them a lot in the upcoming days. Replying to the question of the host, Simple Suni claimed that he saw the squad of RCB and felt that the South Indian franchise has no chance of winning the trophy for the next three seasons.

Suni criticized the auctions of RCB in the IPL 2023 and felt that the squad does not feature a genuine spinner. “I saw the squad, no chance of us winning for the next 3 years. The squad does not even have a proper spinner,” claimed Suni. The 17th edition of the biggest cricket league is set to take place from the last week of March to the last week of May.
