AB De Villiers praises Jasprit Bumrah –

Former South African batter AB De Villiers has come out with a huge praise towards Jasprit Bumrah. The two players have across paths on many occasions while playing in the IPL for their respective sides.

Talking on his YouTube channel, AB De Villiers began by saying “Bumrah bahut shandar bowling karta hai. What a bowler, Jasprit Bumrah! He out-bowled other Indian bowlers, but I feel the others took their turn. It was hunting in packs”

“Their figures don’t look great, yes. But they did play a role in setting up for him. It is not an individual sport. That is what I like about the Indian attack” said AB De Villiers in wholesome praise for the Indian bowlers.

Further speaking about Bumrah, ABD said “That Yorker is certainly his weapon across all formats he plays in. Playing against him, I would always think of the Yorker as his stock threat or main threat. Even in Tests, he picks a lot of wickets with that”

Earlier news reports mentioned that Jasprit Bumrah might be rested for the 3rd Test. According to sources, the news isn’t true as the Indian Cricket Board wants him to play. Mohammed Siraj is also likely to be back for the final three games of the series.

In another good news for the Indian Cricket fans, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja might be back too. The two seemingly have recovered from the injuries that they suffered during the 1st Test. Virat Kohli meanwhile, is set to miss the entire series as his off-field issues continue to bother him.
