The ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 is being hosted by India and this is the first time India is hosting the entire tournament. The Indian Cricket Board was preparing for the grand event for a long time for the smooth conduct of the tournament. However, former Pakistan cricket star Mohammad Hafeez recently expressed his disappointment with the Indian Cricket Board as he believes that there is a lack of organisation in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023.

Hafeez’s criticism comes as a shock to many, as the ODI World Cup is typically associated with a high level of professionalism and organization. However, Hafeez’s statement suggests that this year’s tournament may not have lived up to those expectations.

“Overall World Cup we have seen in 4 days. Till now I have seen poor organization, poor planning from the organizers. Second, the biggest problem I have seen in this is that crowd response is not good. When you make a global tournament, you have to take your mind globally to make decisions. You can never make big decisions with small intentions” Hafeez was quoted as saying by India.com.

Will any former Indian player reply to Hafeez?

However, Hafeez did not specify the exact reasons behind his frustration. No Indian player hasn’t responded to Hafeez’s comments at the time of writing but the fans are curious about the nature and extent of the issues raised by the Pakistani all-rounder.

Cricket fans around the world are eagerly awaiting further details and hoping for a swift resolution to any problems that may be affecting the ODI World Cup 2023. Regardless of the challenges faced, the cricketing community remains hopeful that the tournament will continue to showcase the thrilling and competitive cricket that fans have come to expect from the World Cup.
