AB de Villiers has come up with his prediction for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Whenever a discussion happens regarding the IPL, there will always be a question regarding the chances of RCB. It has been one such franchise which draws the attention of the fans. The fact that they have not been able to win a Trophy to date has surprised many.
In the 16 editions of the IPL, RCB has had many great players in its lineup. Yet, the Trophy has eluded their cabinet. It seems a question mark regarding their future. One would always think about the chances of the side and end up with more questions than answers. Many feel that RCB has not been able to win a cup as they are a cursed franchise. But there is another popular opinion.
Many regard RCB’s management to be one of the most clueless. When RCB ends up not winning the IPL every time, there has been criticism against their management. This time around, RCB has not been able to impress the fans with their trades and picks in the auction. Not many feel that RCB might have a chance to win the IPL this time around as well.

However, Ab De Villiers thinks otherwise. The former RCB batter is optimistic about the chances of his former IPL side. Taking to his YouTube channel, de Villiers felt that RCB would win the Trophy in 2024. “RCB will win the Trophy this year IPL 2024, I’m quietly optimistic,” said de Villiers on his YouTube channel speaking about the chances of RCB.
RCB have had many great players in the past and continue to have some great names even today. in the past, RCB had legends like Dale Steyn, Anil Kumble, Brendon McCullum, Ab De Villiers, Chris Gayle, Yuzvendra Chahal, and many other star players in their lineup. Even now they have some big names like Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Faf Du Plessis and others. But they have not been able to win the title even once.
